Award
winning 17th century country inn, set deep in the garden of England, on
the River Stour, attracting many visitors from Europe and Overseas.
Your French speaking hosts, Winston and Marie Legg, invite you to join
them and enjoy the large selection of real cask ales and fresh English
country style cooking, to be savoured in the beautiful river setting of
the conservatory restaurant, or in front of the open log fire.
Socialise with the friendly locals and find out why it's nicknamed 'The
Pickled Froggie', or just relax by the river in warmth of the afternoon
sunshine. Careful of the ducks that might want to pinch a crisp or two,
and maybe catch a glimpse of the Orient Express on it's way to port.
However you spend your day, we hope you enjoy your visit.
Close to
Ashford International Station and M20. Easy access to Channel Tunnel
and Ferries.
