| Wye Antiques is to be found in an
oak-beamed C17th Building set behind a tile-hung Georgian facade in
Wye`s historic Church Street. The aim of Rosemary Freeman, the
proprietor, is to make sure the antiques on sale are as interesting as
the shop in which they are found.
Rosemary, who has appeared on 'The Antiques Show' on BBC2 TV, is most
interested in the antique furniture, porcelain and pictures that
reflect the social history of England, that have been used and loved by
their owners down the years, and that tell the story of their homes and
their lives in craftsmanship and design.
Lots of people say that the beautiful things in the shop are priced
much too cheaply, which is perhaps why they are snapped up so quickly.
Why not see if you can spot the bargains, and make your visit to Wye a
memorable one?
