This June will see the opening of two new businesses in Wye.
Another antique shop and a gift/coffee shop both in Church
Street.
New road signs for Wye
The WBA has negotiated with the relevant authorities to have tourist signs put up on the A28 to indicate to motorists that a wide selection of shops and services is available in the village. This process
took considerable time, and a great deal of patience to persevere through the reams of red tape. Although this has been rather frustrating to push forward, the WBA
has been successful. A sign has now been erected and a
second one will follow as soon as funds have been raised.
The new sign is proving the effort very worthwhile, and is
bringing people into the village and making them aware of
Wye's active business community.
