Wye Under Fives Pre-School
The Small Village Hall, Bridge Street
Wye. TN25 5EA. Tel:01233 812235

Wye Under Fives Pre-School is for children aged between 2½ and 5 years who live in Wye and the surrounding villages. It is an independent, charitable organisation (No:292176) run by an experienced and well-trained staff, and an elected committee of parents. It is now accredited with the Kent Quality Kitemark, which ensures that we operate to the highest standards of care for pre-school children. You can view the Ofsted report at www.ofsted.gov.uk.

The pre-school is based at the Small Village Hall in Wye.There are approx. 70 children on the register with 25 children attending each session with a staff to child ratio of 1:5. There is ten sessions a week: Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm and 12.45pm to 3.15pm (term time only). We have an intake in September and a smaller one in January.

Kent County Council funds a maximum 5 sessions per week. This is from the term after your child's 3rd birthday. (Due to being oversubscribed 5 sessions will not be available immediately your child is eligible). Prior to this our fees are Morning £6.00, Afternoon £5.00, Lunchtime (you provide a packed lunch), if applicable, £1.75.

For further details and a prospectus on Wye Under Fives Pre-school please telephone 01233 812235 weekdays between 9.15am and 3.00pm.

A Parent & Toddler Group (birth to 3 years) operates alongside Wye Under Fives every Wednesday during term time from 10am until 12pm in the Large Village Hall. This is a wonderful way to prepare children for pre-school/nursery. There is a plentiful range of toys and play equipment, a singing session and a chance to meet new friends. This is run by an experienced childcare worker and costs £1.50 per session per family. To find out more, or to register with the group, please ring Annette Yates on 01233 335624.
